How often should I breastfeed?

Both my daughters I just fed responsively. Even as adults we’re not hungry at the same times daily so don’t feel you can have set times for baby’s x

Same as above - some days she’ll feed every 3 hours other days she’s barely off the boob, just depends what she needs as she grows!

This makes me feel better! I feel like I’m doing things wrong sometimes because someone will ask when he’s due a feed and I’m like I don’t know when he’s hungry haha x

Yeah I try and always feed straight after a nap just so he’s not sleeping on the boob and definitely gets a full feed but if he’s seeming hungry at other times too I’ll give him a ‘snack’ as and when. I find it hard though because if he had it his way he would never pop off and would live eat sleep and breathe just on the boob 24/7 😂

Could be 2 hours or 2 minutes apart 🤣

I feed on demand and yeah. No routine as such. Just guided by her completely. She's 12 weeks 👌🏻

I Also feed on demand and there is no schedule. Some days it’s longer some days shorter (I track feeds on the huckleberry app just for info really). You’re doing the right thing ♥️

I have no routine at all other then every other day will bath before bed. She's a FOMO baby so lucky if I get one official nap off me in the day! All the talk of wake windows and naps just got me thinking I was in the wrong but as long as my baby and me are happy then i chose to not worry about others. I do the last feed before bed in her sleep bag so that when she falls to sleep on the boob can transfer into next to me and usually get a good solid 5 hours! I don't know how I managed it....maybe the dark quiet room?!

same as others, zero routine here! i just feed whenever i think baby needs it and also whenever she gets a bit fussy i see if boob will calm her down. from memory we disn't get in much of a routine with our eldest until around 6 months, so not forcing or rushing it with this baby either!
