My toddler has completely stopped caring about if she pees on the floor or in her underwear.

I’ve been told that peeing on the floor is shocking and that wet underwear is uncomfortable so she will want to pee in the potty because that’s the most comfortable option. For a while it did work, but now she is unfazed by it. I don’t know what to do anymore…

We’re in the same boat. We’ve done a ton of different things and they work for a day or so or she won’t have an accident and it will be a great day then the next day it’s a full regression usually with pee but also at time poop. We’ve been potty training for a year and a half or maybe a little longer now. The next step is we need to talk to her pediatrician but I’m in the process of finding a new one in our area.

@Jessica oh my, that is exhausting. It makes me really mad at the people who make potty trained in 3 days guides! 😅

Yeah had the same issue, then when I was about to give up, she just got it and almost never had an accident again... we did try to get advise from our health visitor but got no where there. Don't stop trying, they will get there. But i get it, it's so frustrating and infuriating...

@Crystal hahaha yessss. I was actually able to potty train my oldest pretty easily but he was also the first and I was pregnant so that was a lot of motivation! He was also just down more. Or I guess listened better lol idk but it’s a massive change!
