Nappy Training

I’m in the same boat but she’s also lazy with some pee’s as well. We’ve been training since June 🙄

My son is Lazy, We got a potty that looks exactly like our WC he prefers to only pee in it but wont do number 2 but instead he will prefer to have a nappy on to do a doo-doo in it. He will be 3 in 2weeks and he is due to start nursery soon and I am worried too.

@Cally does he tell you he needs a poo so then you put the nappy on? My daughter hates pooping in the potty

He doesnt say for poo but for wee only He is excited going to the pottu to wee but when he wants to poo he will request for nappy so when I refuse he becomes very upset. So what I normally do is to watch him when he is quiet and when I see poo is coming I ship him straight to the potty to do it in it.

Id say just keep doing what you're doing. They will learn.. they don't usually want to poo on themselves or on the floor. My son took 2-3 months but now is pretty good. Cold turkey with nappies.

@Cally you could leave him with pants/trousers on and he then experienced it in his pants which is obviously the worst and soon he will realise he prefers to use the potty/toilet?
