nipples

Hi girls. I’m almost 24 weeks and the last 2 days i have noticed my nipples producing some sort of clear liquid, but not sure what it is. it’s not a lot but definitely there. i don’t think it’s colostrum tho i didn’t think i could produce it this early but not sure?

Yup, that's colostrum. Your body starts producing it as early as 16ish week and while it's usually yellowish and thick sometimes it can be clear. I remember from my first pregnancy that when I started harvesting colostrum in the last few weeks, it would always start as clear liquid and then change to yellowish and thicker

Glad I came across this as it happened to me today and I began panicking As I thought it was too early. I guess it’s normal. Oh the changes our bodies go through It’s amazing

It’s absolutely normal, my nipples get like crystallised bits of the ends of them where it comes out and dries 🤣

21 weeks and first had this maybe a week ago, just small amounts of clear liquid, it’s colostrum!! xx
