It takes so much courage to talk openly about mental health 🥰 Honestly you’re doing really well, thinking of what’s best for baby & being so strong. Keep talking, you got this lovely 🫶🏻
@Lauren sending you lots of love and positive energy; you’ve got this mum! it’s so important to put yourself and family first 💖
@Tiggy’s Mummy thank you so much! reading this really put a smile on my face, it’s nice to know this community can be so supportive 🩵
I’ve been on Sertraline for the past 4 years, my mental health got to bad during pregnancy they had to up my dose which I was nervous about but I’m glad they did as I was a shell of myself and got severe anxiety even leaving the house, you’re doing amazing, having crazy hormones on top of mental health is a whole other ball game!
I managed to wean myself off of sertraline before I got pregnant again but I was nervous that I would fall back into those feelings, and then all through pregnancy I would it would come back. My baby is 5 months now and when we have a bad day or night I still worry that it will trigger something in me. I have learnt to be open about my depression, if me talking about it helps one other mum not feel alone then I'm happy. You are doing great, of course you have to think about your baby but you also need to take care of yourself too
You should be so proud of yourself for doing what you’re doing 💕 I’ve got an 18mo boy and I’m currently pregnant with baby two, taking sertraline from when I had PND and PNA with my first. It’s a cycle of thoughts in my head, feeling guilty for taking them when pregnant, but knowing it’s the best decision for my whole family right now. I’m so worried about having PND again. Sending love x
