Potty training, help please!!

So we started potty training our little boy 8 days ago and he started off having 3/4 accidents which I was expecting. Then by day 4/5 he was only having 1 accident. He was so happy to go on the toilet/potty and telling us he needed to go and we're using a sticker chart and he then gets a reward after a few stickers. He was so excited by this concept. Now on day 8, he has only done 1 wee/poo on toilet and the rest in his pants. He's had 4 accidents so far today but he doesn't even seem to care that he's wet anymore and he's stopped telling us he needs it. He also isn't bothered about the stickers anymore! We take him regularly to sit on it and he refuses then a few minutes later does it in his pants. I don't really wanna give up and put him back in nappies as he's clearly proven he knows how to do it, I'm just frustrated and I don't know how to get him to want to use the potty/toilet again. Help 🥺

Start taking him on a schedule and make a huge deal if he goes

We started on 27th December and had barely any accidents the first couple of weeks but same here this last few days. Just loads of accidents and doesn't seem fussed.

I have an October 22 baby we have been potty training for 3 months but this popped up. My son was doing well at the beginning but on day 15 he had as many accidents as day 1 (6 I think). He then proceeded with having 9 days with no accidents and since then he has been having 2-3 a week, mainly at the nursery… So it fluctuates I would say. Another thing I would say is that the course I took by big little feelings was advising against rewards as the excitement wears off and then they need more and it turns into a power battle. Try to play it as cool as you can when there is an accident and don’t push too hard/ overprompt.

Get a new potty. We bought one that is like a mini toilet! He loves his big boy toilet. Really helped us

We started before Christmas and went brilliant , now these last 2 weeks he also stopped telling me when he needs to go and if I ask him he keep say no, so I waited but ended up in accidents , so now I ask him and still he always say no so I put him on the toilet without even ask him anymore every 2/3 hours and he does it as soon as he sits on it , I also told the nursery to just put him on the toilet without asking him and had no accidents anymore, we make a huge deal when he goes and he is happy , Is not a consolation but for now is working and I hope that going on this road he is gonna start again telling me when to go. Maybe try this way see what happens
