Nesting?

I have been having a strong urge for nesting but unfortunately we are moving a month after baby is born since our lease ends early may. I so badly want to set up his nursery but since we won't be at our apartment for much longer doesn't make sense to get it started. So instead I have just been organizing his stuff in the containers and going through his clothes again and again 🤣

@Lyrica Awww!! Lol do you have everything for his nursery? I've been on Amazon making a list for my toddler's new room for before the new baby comes. That counts as nesting right? 🤣

Oh for sure! I'm 26 weeks, we moved halfway across the state at 12 weeks and have been remodeling. So I'm channeling all of this energy!

I was able to clean up the nursery and go through some baby clothes !

@Becca I think I definitely would count that as nesting!! And I have a few things for his nursery and have been making a list of stuff I want to get and a theme! I think I wanna do a Stitch theme 🥰

I’ve wanted to decorate for Valentine’s Day, but I took a little bit of the nesting energy to try to get my little ones room ready. We’re still trying to do that lol

We’re moving 1 month-2 weeks before I’m due so I can’t even nest yet 😭😭 everything I do here is pointless since we’ll be gone soon.

@Alyssia been there! This is my 3rd pregnancy, but we moved apartments when I was 38 weeks with my first and i basically went into overdrive as soon as we moved in😂

@Alyssia I feel you on that! Except we are moving a month after so I need stuff for a month then stuff for afterwards. I really wanna nest some but putting things up other than essentials just to move it kinda is like what's the point

I wish some nesting energy would kick in already 🥱 I just hit the third tri slump and have a killer sinus infection. I don't even have Cmas stuff put up yet bc we finished renovating half the basement right before family came for the holidays, and now the side that connects to the storage area is a mess. About to go work down there now, but it's sheer willpower.

@Reba Yeah my little one's room is definitely not ready either 😅 I have to organize pretty much every room in my house still 😭

@Audrey I just brought in my Christmas decorations yesterday. I'm definitely slacking but trying to use any energy I have 😅 I hope you feel better!!

I did my first load of laundry for the few pieces of baby clothes I have today and organized the dresser/changing table we put up last week with toys and books and a few other things. I'm so excited I could do it over and over again. 😁 Never been excited about doing laundry 😄
