Increased movement

Someone please tell me increased movement can be a sign of labour coming? Im so uncomfortable and sick of being pregnant, and she’s decided to start a boxing match with my ribcage and just won’t stop! Can increased movement mean something is going to happen soon?

I’m also wondering as I’m experiencing increased movement as well at 39 + 3 xx

it can be a sign of distress. I’d call your local triage and go in to be monitored, always better to be safe! But hopefully for your sake it does mean she’s trying to find her way out 🤣 best of luck xx

@Kas I rang a few weeks ago as I’d been concerned about increased movement, and was told there’s no such thing as too much movement and that I only needed to get in touch if there was reduced movement. Not sure what to do if that’s their rules on things x

Wow that’s shocking they’ve told you that… A sudden change in increased momvents can defo mean they’re distressed. (Not always but it can potentially) I’ve lost a full term baby. If you personally feel in your heart something is wrong I’d just go up and ask to be monitored tbh. I cannot believe they’ve said that though that’s actually shocking! X

I’ve been feeling like this and I’m 39 weeks really contemplating on going in as well

I called triage too due to increased movement and cramping a few days ago and they called me in for monitoring, all was well in my case. I agree better to call as every situation is different
