Rolling over

My LO is just over 6 months old and still hasn’t rolled over. She is my first baby so unsure if I should be concerned by this. She is sitting well unaided and will roll onto her side but doesn’t seem to be able to or want to roll onto her tummy at all. Is this normal or should I be concerned? Thank you!

No. Mine doesn't do any of that and he's 6 months next week. They learn at different times and some may skip it all together

No concerns. Just make sure you’re doing plenty of tummy time

This is my second. He’s 6 months and has no interest whatsoever! Hates tummy time too, loves to sit up! I’m not worried as he’s reaching other milestones. Honestly don’t panic she will get there! If you’re worried have a chat with your HV at your 6m check up x

Mine same sitting well but not rolling over ! I was worried to but then I know some baby's that can't sit well every baby is differnt x

I wouldn't worry I believe rolling is 6-8 months roughly but I'd just do loads of tummy time and assisted rolling. My boy has been rolling back to front since 4.5 months and has just mastered tummy to back and I won't lie it's annoying 🤣 every single nappy change he's trying to escape me

Mine was showing no signs and I kept physically rolling him myself then at 6.5 he just suddenly started doing it and no stopping him now 😂

@Maria was it something you done every day. This is what I'm doing with mine. I've put toys around him to see if he'll stretch and roll for it. Nope. Lazy boy lol

Mine sits almost unaided (can sit unaided for about 5-10 secs and then wants something and falls flat 🤣) but the rolling is another matter, he did it once 2 months ago and then just stopped. He also despises runny time for longer than 3 mins despite having amazing control he’s just never liked it. Don’t stress, I was stressing until my nurse told me not to . Each baby has their thing. ❤️

Mine isn’t either, she don’t care, I think she’s gonna miss it out and go straight to standing cus she can stand on her own if I put her into the position 😂 I wouldn’t worry it’s a stage that can be missed, my son crawled for 2 weeks then just wanted to stand!
