Try 1/2tsp of bicarb in 1/2c water and see if you can get some omeprazole ❤️

@Sharnee thank you so much!! Xx

Call your GP to see if you can get some Omeprazole. It’s a life saver!

@Sinead im just so close to the end now and being induced soon so i dont really want to take anything medication wise (even though i guess the rennies ive been using are also classed as medication haha) but i might have too because this is just becoming unbearable i need to rest and i just can’t x

@Kas try the bicarb/water. I’ve also heard the love heart sweets over there help too! (I used fruit tingles here in Aus 🤣)

I’ve slept sitting up a fair few nights now as so much worse when laying down & then doing breathing exercises/sleep hypnosis videos to send me to sleep - it’s been a lifesaver as didn’t want to take any other meds and whilst uncomfortable have managed to cope! Just waiting for baby’s full head of hair now 🥹💓

Same. It's just awful. Nights are the worst 😞 I've heard omeprazole works so well so definitely call the gp. What helps a bit is to layer up on pillows such that you are almost sitting and sleeping...

Literally been awake last hour or so trying to manage mine with rennies and it ain’t happening, I feel you 😭😅

You can buy omeprazole over the counter at a pharmacy. It’s been a life saver for me!

Thank you all! Is omeprazole tablets or liquid?

Have you asked your midwife about it? I did and she put me on Omeprazole and honestly I haven’t had acid since. And I was getting it awfully every day x

@Kas It’s tablets ☺️
