Cramping that is similar to regular period cramping is normal. I experienced mild cramps too as well as nausea/morning sickness and increased appetite in my first trimester. There’s bad signs sometimes might be wrong by obvious things like severe cramps in your tummy or back and heavy bleeding (light bleeding could be ok cause that means implantation bleeding)
I experienced mild cramps like period pain but anything stronger could indicate something wrong. Try not to stress and worry as this can effect is things tooo
I had a mc in October and I started off with mild cramping but a few days later I started to wipe and seen blood, so if your not bleeding I say you'd be fine xx if you do start to bleed I would recommend speaking to early pregnancy about giving your progesterone to stop the bleeding and stop you from misscariaging also start to take 75mg of asprin its really good xx
Im 8w (9 on Wednesday) and was in A&E on Saturday night because I had excruciating pain, I have a very high pain tolerance and I was screaming, rocking and crying my eyes out….turns out I was I just needed a fart or poop…Im not saying to ignore pain but it just goes to show how much more it hurts when pregnant…but I too am terrified of pains and loosing baby xx
I experienced really bad cramping in the beginning no blood or anything I went to the ED and found out that I had a threatened miscarriage and they told me to just take it easy & don’t have sex until my ob cleared me. I’m now 23 weeks today with a perfectly healthy baby boy. If you feel like something Is wrong it doesn’t hurt to go get checked out
I had some severe cramping around the 5th week and I am now 14 weeks! I would say if there’s no bleeding don’t stress yourself out like I did!
I have had 3 back to back miscarriages, at or before 5 weeks. I used to be extremely overweight and unhealthy, thankfully, I’m much much healthier and pregnant now, 9 weeks. The first 6 1/2 weeks every bump, cramp, tinkle, scared the crap out of me…. When I was between 3-5 weeks the cramping was aweful… I mean I swore every day I had to be miscarrying. At 6 weeks exactly, I even went to the hospital from the excruciating gas pain that had my on the floor hyperventilating and crying, I thought I had ectopic pregnancy or something. I mean the cramping was so bad I was throwing up from the pain. I say that to say…. There’s unfortunately not really a measurement of how much cramping is normal. It’s really scary, any cramping. I will say, literally leading all the way up to my 5th week, when it wasn’t severe from gas, I could’ve told you at any point, it just felt like my period was going to come in. It felt a bit more intense than my period cramps
As long as you’re not getting major bleeding I think you should be ok. Light spotting I normal. I even had some cervical mucus pass with a bit of blood too when ever I’d go #2 or would throw up. Just from the pressure that was being put on my cervix.
Hey! I had really strong cramps at the beginning of my pregnancy. Even worse than period cramps. I was so anxious and thought all the time that I was miscarrying. Don’t be too anxious about it, it can be totally normal
