Mine stopped and started for a good 5 weeks. It would ease off and then suddenly start up again quite heavily.
@Emily thank you for letting me know. It sounds similar to me, I thought it was stopping yesterday but then became heavy again in the evening. Did it completely stop after 5 weeks for you? Just trying to gage how long to leave it before bothering with the hospital.
How big are the clots? I didn’t have a c section but have had the same with bleeding and clots larger than golf balls and have been given antibiotics for an infection and referred for a scan to check what’s going on
@Sarah I would say bigger than a 50p but smaller than a golf ball. Did you have any pain? Hope the scan goes well!
Yes mine stopped around 5 weeks and then a week later started my period! Definitely get checked if you’re worried though.

Go back to the labour ward where you have given birth and tell them you are bleeding heavily. 3 weeks PP with heavy bleeding isn't normal
