What could this be?

My mum said it’s more than likely from her sucking on her bottle and I trust her as she’s had two kids but even if it is so I just leave it or do I keep applying lip balm like I’ve been doing? Ignore her messy face she was eating beans🤣

Bottle? To process eliminate I would have thrown baby bottles away at 12 mo of age. But that's just me personally lol

It’s definitely a suck blister. It’s extremely common and will sometimes peel. My pediatrician told me about it when my baby started getting one.

Is it peeling skin? X

Definitely from a bottle, my 20 month old still uses one for bed and there’s nothing wrong with that ☺️ She gets the peeling skin sometimes too, in fact she’s got it at the moment 😄 I only got rid of my eldests bottle just before she turned 3. They both see a dentist every 6 months and their teeth are perfect, and they also have cmpa so they have milk for longer than others do.

@Becca thank you, yeah I did think it would be from that but just needed some more reassurance as I get cold sores and as much as I try not to kiss or anything you know what toddlers are like🤣

@Danielle it’s almost like a hard blister if you get me?

@Lauren I would have but she point blank will not sleep without a bottle at night so I’d rather just let her have her comfort even if it means taking them off her once she turns 3
