Movement

Has anyone noticed movements changing from 35+? I’ve been seen in triage and also had a scan today and baby is doing amazing in there but when he is moving it’s not as strong as when I was in the early 30 weeks stage

Yes! I’m finding that I don’t *feel* it if that makes sense? But I can see it? Like sometimes I can feel the rolling but it’s not as obvious as it was previously

@Gem glad it’s not just me, so worrying though x

This is happening to me 😩 I posted the same thing about 3 hours ago x

@Keeley he goes crazy on the monitor & being scanned but it feels muffled. I no longer get the big belly shake movement it’s so stressful x

Exactly the same as you! 35+5 and constantly worrying that I'm not feeling him as much! Up until this point he has been active constantly but now he is running out of room he just doesn't move as much. Counting down the days now until he is here!

I was thinking this yesterday!! It is always such a worry isn’t it 😅😅

100% - it’s more like they’re just stretching than kicking and moving. My baby is now engaged and my midwife said they’ll never officially advise that movements change but they can feel different to before xx

The last week Iv had crazy movements, where it feels like he’s trying to burst his way out, full belly shakes and everything and as of last night (I’m 35 weeks today) he’s been quieter. He’s definitely still moving but it’s a lot more subtle than before

I'm 37 weeks today and noticed my movements changed at about 35 weeks. He's still moving, but they feel like stretching rather than the short sharp kicks and jabsI used to get. He's just running out of room! Sometimes he does a big stretch and it feels like he's trying to escape Alien style lol. But overall it's much more subtle.

Once my baby turned at 32 weeks the movements changed Instead of kicks it feels like swishes and rolls. Midwife said it’s normal coz as you get bigger the baby won’t have as much room to move. I’m almost 35 weeks now.

Yes, the consultant described it as the baby going from being in a swimming pool to being in a bath which makes total sense with the change in sensation for me
