Mine was breech at 35 weeks, I tried the spinning babies exercise (lying upside down on an ironing board) 3 times a day for 5 days and it turned at 36 weeks. Definitely worth giving it a try!
@Millie that's exactly how I feel! Not yet, have another scan in a weeks time to review...
Hey Millie! I had a ECV on Thursday last week and like you was nervous to move her. I deliberated for ages. However I decided to give it a go and it was successful, I am a first time mum and I’d heard that it’s less likely to work. I was also aware that my LO had been in breech position since 28 weeks so the midwife’s said I had even less chance. The procedure lasted 5 mins, no pain just felt a little uncomfortable but I used breathwork throughout and she is now head down. So happy I tried it. You can stop them anytime so I’m very happy I tried it to give me a chance at vaginal delivery! Wishing you all the success xxx
Also didn’t mention I was 37+3 when they carried it out
@Katherine hey, that’s really positive, thank you for sharing this! Are you scheduled for an induction or are you waiting for her to make an arrival?xx
My baby has been breech for a few weeks too! I’ve tried spinning babies and acupuncture but not had any luck so far. I think I’ll try ECV as I really want a vaginal birth 🤞🏼
@Helen did you do all the exercises or just the ironing board one? Xx
@Josephine just the forward inversion from the sofa before the ironing board one - there’s a video on the Spinning babies website
Currently in the same position, baby has been breech throughout my whole pregnancy so I am reluctant to try and move her in case there is a reason for it! Did they offer you a c section date?
