No milk in my breast anymore

My milk has went low. I’m in an abusive relationship and my husband is putting me down about certain things. Sauk bc it’s my fault she’s 11 months and has been introduced to solids as well. We’re here at the pediatrician office. Words of encouragement please.

Speak to the pediatrician alone on the side. They'll be able to help get you out of the relationship with your daughter.

Please talk with the doc or slip him a note.

I’m so sorry. Please call the domestic violence hotline. They will listen and help you think and plan. You don’t deserve this. You are doing a great job. Your baby will be fine and well fed drinking any milk and healthy food.

Does ANY milk come out? When bub latches, can you feel any letdown or see bub swallowing?

@Ella She’s swallowing I don’t feel letdown. She switch boobs frequently. And gets upset.

Have you tried pumping? I was most successful pumping vs feeding at the chest

@Sophia I’ve tried only a little comes out.

Be consistent. It might take a couple times. The more consistent and the more you pump the more you’ll get ideally. Are you eating and drinking enough? That’s also super important. Don’t be heard on yourself if you can’t produce what you need, it sounds like you’re dealing with a lot and stress can hinder your milk supply, but girl as long as baby is fed you’re good. Message me if you’re needing support mama.

Try mixing yellow body armor, coconut water, and yellow Gatorade. It's what helped with my supply. As for as domestic violence goes, get out while you still can, and your child can still have a mother.

Your supply may well have dipped temporarily but it'll come back up. Feed frequently, switch sides frequently, drink enough water. Bub can have water and solid food, she will not starve to death. It will probably only take 1-2 days for your supply to come up again. It's okay.
