I’m 23+4 been on them since 10 weeks and just weaning myself off 🤣 I cut down to just 2 at night, then 1 then gone cold turkey 🫣 have felt nauseous and off bit of bile this week since coming off, but way better than I was x
@Jasmine thank you! I’ve tried the one in the afternoon and it literally makes no difference 😅 I’m wondering if having both in the morning might give it a better boost. They only say don’t have them both together due to tiredness/drowsiness, but I honestly don’t feel very tired from them!
@Jess thank you! How did you know when to start cutting down? Were you still sick while taking them or not? X
@Emily id stopped being sick whilst taking them, then one day forgot them and was sick all day so knew I wasn’t ready. Then I’ve slowly gone to no sick again but this is 4-5 weeks later and weaned down and seen how I’ve been done x
I was told the side effects of coming off them is sickness and nausea and was advised to wean off slowly by reducing 1 tab every other day eg 4 tabs, then 3 tabs, then 4 tabs, then 3 until settled without increased sickness. Then 3 every day. Then alternating between 3 and 2 every day. Etc etc. can see how it goes and increase the pace if it works
Mine was managed with 1 tablet of zofran right when I woke up. I was taking a daily pill from 9weeks-28weeks. I tried weaning off from 16weeks onward and would “test” myself on days that I didn’t have work or responsibilities by trying to go my morning without the tablet and see how my nausea affected me. 9/10 times I’d end up taking it after suffering for a few hours. I am now 30 weeks and only in the past 2-3 weeks have I reduced my usage to about two or three times weekly. To be honest, you’ll know when it’s time to wean off.
You can take max 4 tablets per day so 2 evening then 1 morning and one afternoon I would maybe take the afternoon one and consult doctor before coming off it yourself xxx
