Breastfed babies!

Can you over feed a breastfed baby?! My little girl is 4 weeks on Friday, and she has spent ALL day on the boob!! She will fall asleep for about 10 mins after, and then she’s screaming for the boob again😅 she feeds a fair bit anyway, but this is next level🤣 is this normal? Worried about her being bunged up later with sick and trapped wind!

No, I don't think so. My little one cluster fed so intensely for like the first 6 or 7 months. It was EXHAUSTING. I got maybe like 20minute breaks between latches. We made it through! If you are concerned about any air, just make sure you help her burp herself. Do little bicycles on her legs and ILU's on her belly❤️

Same as Chris lol mines 8 weeks and she cluster feeds most of the time

You can’t overfeed a breastfed baby, no. Our milk contains exactly what they need, nothing more, nothing less, so it passes through a lot quicker than formula, because there isn’t different/added unnecessary ingredients to digest so they get hungrier a lot sooner than formula fed. So my point to answer your question because im blabbing on 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 is no, you cannot over feed, but for the first fair few weeks they will seem like they’re feeding constantly and it’s tiring! 😂 but it does get less! My 17 month old still feeds and sometimes even now I question how long for 😂

No no you are absolutely fine! You are doing a great job and keep up with her demands! Unfortunately they do cluster feeding as a newborn. Make sure you take burping breaks every 20 minutes she’s been on x

My eldest was like this, my advice is lap up sitting watching TV while you can 😅

Nope! You cannot over feed a breastfed baby! Your milk and supply is customized to meet your baby’s needs 🩵

My babe is a month today and wondering the same thing…. Was up ALL night last night feeding every half hour. It was misery. And he’s spitting up but still demanding the boob??
