Bleeding after sex all the time

Fresh red blood after sex. I’m not on contraception (haven’t been for 3+ years), I’m no longer breastfeeding and have been getting my periods fairly regularly these last 6 months. Before pregnancy it would happen often but now it’s more often than not. I feel rather wet when I have sex and I’m not in pain. My smear history is normal and I had another smear recently. I just don’t understand why! I don’t have particularly rough sex and my partner isn’t exactly built like the Eiffel Tower 😂 I’m sure others have experienced this. Did you ever get to the bottom of it?

Please go see your GP and request a scan. I have experienced this and it turns out I have PCOS, although that is just 1 thing it could be

It could be something as simple as cervical ectroption. Go to your gp and ask for a colpolscopy 🥰

Do you suffer with discharge quite a lot? Not smelly just a lot of it?

@Larissa I didn’t know this was apart of PCOS, I have PCOS and I have this too, was about to book an appointment about it xx

@Storme yea, it was the cause for me. Please please do book the appointment because there could be another reason for the bleeding

@Denver I agree, I use to bleed occasionally with sex and come to find out I have a cervical ectropion, they said it was common for those on contraception or of child bearing age. When I was pregnant and had sex I also bled a few times and this was because of the increased blood flow to the area. Deffo ask for some scans xx
