Night nanny

So I’m due in a few weeks and my sister has offered to pay for a night nanny to help me overnight. We have no family nearby to help and my husband will only be around for a few days then back to work. In your experience, what month would you suggest I get this? What’s the hardest month? I know they are all hard and challenging but I want to make the most of the gift and use it when I know it will help? Thanks

Probably the first few days whilst you are recovering from birth and adjusting to no sleep 😂

I'm at month 4 now, and would second @Scarlett :)

I’d say month 4 for the sleep regression! Newborn they sleep a lot x

I’ve also organised one, I’m having her come after 2-3 weeks to take the pressure off, everyone I’ve spoken to has really seen the value, it’s about rest for you and your partner. We also have no family near by so feel very lucky can organise this.

Honestly at 6 months lol. The sleep regression is awful. For us it is anyway and I’m finding it way harder than the newborn stage as at least baby would sleep during the day then but now wants attention during the day while I’m functioning on barely any sleep

When husband isn’t around.
