Mama's if not too intrusive

Why did you have a c-section before 39 weeks? I will eventually have a c-section, but it's all new to me..

They don’t tend to like to do a C-section before 39 weeks now! I had gestational diabetes on medication and had my son at 39+5 via section xx

I had c section 38+3 due to reduce movements

i had a c-section at 37 weeks due to me having preeclampsia.

I was induced at 38 weeks due to gestational diabetes and his size (9.5lbs at birth) during labour we discovered he was breeched and had a c-section. But the plan was always a c-section because of GD and his size. He just happened to slow down his growth right at the end so I attempted a vaginal birth but clearly the kid had different plans.

I developed Cholestasis

First section at 38+3 as baby decide to come 10 days before her original elective date. Second section at 37+2 due to ICP, having an early baby last time and a pathology lab strike meaning no bloods would be available on the week 38 date we had.

I had mine at 39+2 due to bub being frank breech.

I had on at 37 weeks because my babe was breech and was in distress.

38 weeks due to having a previous abdominal surgery. They didn't want to take the chance of my abdominal muscles splitting open during active labor (the previous cut was apparently large).

I had c-section at 38 weeks due to me having preeclampsia

I had an emergency c-section after being induced at not progressing past 4cm I was exactly 38 weeks my baby was also growth restricted that was the reasoning for being induced

Before 39 weeks is due to a medical cause now. Both of mine were at 37+6 because I went into labor naturally. First was in destress and wasn't doing okay. Second I wanted a repeat and just happened to go into labor early

Gestational hypertension 37 weeks 4 days. They wanted to do it at 37 weeks but I asked them to wait 4 days.

I had c-section 38+5 because my water broke and baby was breach. I was booked to have via caesarean a few days later

Induced at 38+2 due to preeclampsia and unable to control it with medication anymore. Laboured for 2 hours but baby in distress which was unresolved with any measures and emergency c section

I had mine at 35 weeks due to preeclampsia. I also had GB

They attempted to start induction at 38 weeks on the dot due to preeclampsia, water broke naturally, arrest of labor at 38 + 2 and then our vitals got concerning so off to the operating room we went.

37 weeks due to complete placenta previa

38 weeks due to having severe polyhydramnios and baby having suspected bowel atresia, which she didnt and is perfectly healthy

Thank you all for sharing your experiences 💕

I was supposed to have one at 39 weeks due to baby having a heart condition, but it was moved to 38+4 because my BP was high at my OB appt. She sent me to OB triage that morning and came to the hospital after her office visits to deliver me that evening. It worked out great because it was a controlled environment and not an emergency rushed C-section.

I had it at 38 plus 4, due to my blood pressure buying high x

I had a C-section at 37+3 because my blood pressure spiked

I developed preeclampsia at 35w+6 days and was induced. I was in labor for 40 hours and for the last 12 hours I made no progress and I just couldn’t take it anymore. Baby boy was born at 36w+1 day💙

Emergency c-section at 36 weeks because of a drop in movement and low amniotic fluid for my 1st. 2nd scheduled at 37 weeks for growth restriction.
