Drinking Water

Hi all, my almost 16 month old still won't drink water. How do I go about getting him to have water? X

We starting using the tum tum straw cup and thats how he started having more water otherwise other cups he refused it

We have a tomme tippe cup with a straw and its basically in her line of site for the day. She'll go up to it whenever she wants a drink. At meals times, I put it next to her and then pick it up and say, "do you want some?" If she says no, then I'll pop it back down but normally she'll then pick it up herself and take a drink.

The only bottle/cup my LO will use is a fruit shoot bottle, we filled an empty one with water and that worked! Literally tried everything else!

Is this a taste or a cup issue? For taste I recommend bottled water SAKA or PINAR both high in PH. Cooled down Redbush tea (made with filtered water or bottled water.) Home pressed orange juice diluted with water (as advised by paediatric doctor) Cups: munchkin miracle cup or Nuby straw cup from Amazon (not weighted) If this fails, add a tiny bit of raw honey to the water or the red bush tea. Water / drinks shouldn’t be cold, but room temperature. Is he moving enough ? What other liquids does he take?
