Cramping

I’m currently 5+3 and feeling pretty nervous and just want to get to 12 weeks! I’ve been getting daily cramps for the last.. almost week, but thankfully no bleeding. Luckily my period cramps haven’t been bad in the last 5 years or so (they were really bad before then) but everything online says not to be worried unless the cramps are worse than period ones, which they are- but that’s only because I don’t get cramps usually! Not sure what I’m asking really, but has anyone else had frequent cramps that are pretty painful?

Hey lovely, please try not worry. I was exactly where you are last year and had my little boy in September 24. I was a mess at the beginning! I had cramps for the first few weeks and I actually had some spotting too at 7 weeks and then again at 12 weeks, but baby boy is fine and 4 months old. It's infuriating but it's common to have feelings similar to a period early on. If it gets too bad or you have bleeding or you're worried then get checked out to put your mind at rest ❤️

I've had the same thing x I didn't get them for my first pregnancy but I think it's normally implantation and then round ligament pain x I am booking an early scan just incase xx

I'm getting a lot of cramping, and did with my first pregnancy too. It's your hormones and uterus starting to stretch. I got round ligament pain at the end of my last pregnancy but I've already got it this time round and I'm not even quite 5 weeks. Unless the cramping is with bleeding (not just spotting) then it's normal

Don’t worry hun it’s completely normal . I am 6 weeks 3 days and experiencing the same. Dull cramping , please don’t worry xx

I had really bad cramping (much worse than period) around 5-6 weeks which woke me up in the night in agony a few times. Had a scan last week and everything is fine. Your uterus needs to stretch so it’s bound to be uncomfortable x
