Knee Trouble

Almost 5months pp & I’ve been suffering with really bad knee trouble for the past 2months. I’m getting awful pain in my knees when I’m getting up & down from the floor, if I’ve been sat for too long or getting up in the mornings I’m hobbling for ages because my knees are so painful. When I walk down the stairs my knees make a crackle like sound with every step. Has anyone else had any knee trouble? My knees were absolutely fine before pregnancy & during.

Hey, I had this and it resolved about 2-3 months ago (Baby was 1 today 🥺) I went to the drs and saw a physio. Mechanical knee pain for the constant up and down from the floor/sofa/chair/up and down off of hard floors at groups and classes. 100% go and see your GP/physio. I don't know what triggered the pain to stop for me though as I'm still up and down off the floor like a yoyo x

@Hannah aww happy 1st birthday to your little one ☺️ Thank you for this information. Really helpful, I’ve been wondering if I should go to the drs or not. Will definitely book an appointment Thank you x

Thank you, it goes so fast cherish them tiny! Glad to help, hope you get some good support and rest when you can (I know it's bloody hard but it does help) x

this is happening to me but i’ve put on a good 30 pounds and my knees just can’t take it. is it possible you’ve put on weight?

@Sam I’d say I’m probably around the same weight I was before falling pregnant. Haven’t actually stepped on the scales I’m just going by the fact I now fit back into all my clothes comfortably x

@Sian definitely get checked out lovely

Got physio booked for next Friday afternoon :) Thank you ladies x

Am 4months PP and to tell you what, my whole body hurts like hell, starting from my knee to my ankle, I have swollen ankle, severe back pain and waist pain, I can’t stand for too long. I wake up in the morning and gosh back to all these pains like I did something wrong. It’s so sad, I have to go through all these pains after birth
