We are very cautious and asked close family to consider the Tdap vaccine to prevent whooping cough...two family members got it and they are the only ones allowed to see our son until he gets his Dtap. I made it very clear for everyone. You do not have to do what makes you uncomfortable.
Honestly wait until you’re ready because I had my baby in December as well and the same day she was born my aunt came to visit and my daughter got RSV right away at 3 days old and we been coming and going from the hospital thank god baby girl is finally getting better but honestly wait until she has her first shots or when you feel ready to have her around other people
@Ivy I would have been livid.
Honestly I would just say make your boundaries really clear and known- setting boundaries on what I was okay with as her mom is what helped my anxiety with people holding her and meeting her, if my boundaries are not respected then they will not hold my baby.
