Crying baby 😢

Please tell me someone else can relate. I’m a mum to 3 children. 2 boys and a girl. My last born was the girl Today has been so so so difficult I’ve cried so much. She don’t want to be put down! When I put her down she screams the house down literally till you pick her up. She hasn’t slept all day. If she has it’s because I’ve held her (slept less than an hour all day) she’s been up since 5am. She just fell asleep on me after her bath and I put her down and she’s up screaming. My ears ringing. I’ve come to get a bath. Dad is taking over but I feel so so sad and guilty that I walked away to have a bath 😢 Why could my baby be doing this? She’s not unwell or anything. She’s always been kinda clingy to me. She won’t usually let dad hold her or anyone. She screams till she gets me back. What could be going on? What have I done to make her like this? My boys was never like this 😭 I’m exhausted and so sad Sorry to keep going on 😢 Thank you She’s 10 weeks old ❤️

You haven’t done anything wrong at all! She’s just a mummy’s girl who thinks the world of you! It’s really tough, I understand but prioritise your self in the way of bath and food so you can give her the best care you can. Maybe try a sling or wrap carrier so she can be on you but your arms are free for other things. It’s tough mumma but you got this 💪🏼 she just adores you is all x

Honestly I’m going through exactly this with my girl! She’s SO much more clingy than my boy ever was. Dad can’t settle her to sleep even though he wants to help. It’s all on me and I’m not even breast feeding. With my boy, everything I did my partner could also do meaning I could leave him with him without worrying and knowing he could settle him. This time round, it’s completely different. Dad is now basically just caring for our 5 year old as I have to be sorting baby girl all the time meaning I’m not getting 1:1 time with my boy which is killing me. No idea why these girls are so needy! What happened to ‘daddies girl’!
