Which is the hardest phase as a baby in your option ?

I'm a first time mum and my baby is a little over 5 weeks. This has been the most difficult thing I've done. The sleep deprivation; trying to feed but having all sorts of issues; the crying the colic and not knowing what will make baby happy; all the wardrobe changes; the loss of freedom. I love my baby.. but i want to know when will if it gets easier? Or am I doing something wrong ?

This is the hardest bit!! My youngest is 5 weeks today too and we are just riding it out! I found around 3 months was a turning point but then there's the 4 month sleep regression so it's short lived. 6 months though, that's when life looks completely different and a million times easier, baby starts to sit, you get the fun of weaning, sleep is so so so much better (or you don't feel panicked cosleeping because they're bigger 😊) This is definitely the hardest and my least favourite. Toddler stage is my favourite though 😊

I'm a mum of three and found welcoming our second & third was actually easier than our first as it is such a massive change and everything is new. I found that by 12 weeks, things felt easier, and by 6 months I'd joined baby groups and embraced my new life as a mum. I was the first of my friends, so I was pretty lonely on maternity leave to start. It's okay to be finding it hard you aren't doing anything wrong it just is really hard till you find your rhythm. Ask for help from any friends or family near by.

It definitely is going to get easier really soon x

By 9-10 weeks I found it WAY easier than the first 6 weeks! LO is now 18 weeks and it’s so much easier!!! You’ve got this mama xx

@Aimee what exactly was easy . I just wish he would stop crying

You begin to get the hang of things, I would cry of a night just hoping she would sleep and not cry as I was exhausted. Especially because some nights I had no support. It’s hard to pinpoint it but honestly it just changes.. you begin to feel like you’re coping better, you understand babies signs a lot more, you get more into a routine. There’s so many little things that overall make the journey more pleasant. I know at the beginning you genuinely question what have you done but I promise you it gets better - if you ever wanna talk, please message xx

6-12 weeks was really hard in my opinion x
