Nursery code

Can you use the free nursery code in more than one nursery? my son starts nursery March however I can only get him in one day a week, there are other nursery’s with more days and he is also at a nursery (school) in September, He will be 2 in May, I am on a debate to keep him in his first nursery or put him in the other one when September comes, however if I can do both and receive funding for both that would be ideal.

You can split the funding yes

You can split the funding but will need to let both nurseries know. They will then need to agree who will claim how much funding per week etc, its get a little complex but can be done x

Same as above, it definitely can be done. You are allowed a maximum of 3 settings total, with a maximum of 2 settings per day. I would recommend discussing with both nurseries on their funding structure. The setting I work at can only accept funded hours during 1-6pm, with the maximum of 5 hours per day, with a minimum of 3 sessions (to create the 15 hours min entitlement), opposed to 1.5 days. So would depend on if your sessions also fit in with their individual funding structure for you to split funding between the two. They’d also need to agree this too so they can apply for their split funded hours correctly xx
