My mil is upset I wont let her have my LG alone
My mil is forever saying that I'm stopping her from having a relationship with her granddaughter just because I won't allow her to be alone with her ( for which I have my reasons) but no one has had my baby alone either and it doesn't seem to bother anyone else other than her. Anyone else had this problem before .

@Alyssa yeh my instincts are strong , I've invited her so many times to come see the baby but she refuses so honestly I give up
Stick to your word, your baby, your rules and people might sulk, but they'll get used to it x

Literally dealing with the same thing. She straight up starts acting like she’s the baby crying, throwing tantrums, creating group threads between my mom and partner- but so fake in person. Both, his mom and dad canceled their flight because they couldn’t take my daughter (15 months) alone to go on an “adventure.”

I will say this if you have your reasons stick with it. if it’s a gut feeling stick with it. We have parental instinct for a reason. I’m sure you probably already thought about it. Just invite her over to hang out or go over there and hang out instead so they can still bond.
