You need to earn at least 183 per week (and so does your partner if you live with one). The funding is 15hrs per week (term time) some nurseries will allow this to be stretched for the whole year, others only allow certain times. So you need to find the best nursery for the hours you require and get the most out of your funding :)
Have a look on childcare choices, funding is 15 hours if you’re working and earning a certain amount. U will need to apply to get a code, from sep 2025 9 months+ will qualify for 30 hours. Most nurseries will stretch the funding to accommodate for the half terms, for example instead of 15 hours u will get 11. Funding works termly, so if u apply now it will be for the term of April. Check with the nurseries for hours, some sessions can be 8-6 (private nursery) they don’t have to attend the whole time, but ur funding will be for those hours. Again some nurseries do block sessions like 9-12 or 1-4 etc. Supplement charges may occur for food, snack & equipment.
They can start whatever she. On the government website. If you just google apply for childcare then it will tell you how You need to be working in order to get the funded hours. As long as you want.
