Potty training tips

I am a first time momma to a beautiful girl. She is now 2 and has been showing signs of wanting to go on the potty. We have started potty training around 1 and she was doing great!! Then we moved and it seems like she is now somewhat scared ? Of going on the potty and is now holding her pee and poo. Any advice ? 😖 Here is a pic of my beautiful girl 💜

First of all let me tell you that your little girl is beautiful. 🩷 Potty training is a process which I had to learn myself. I’m actively potty training my daughter. I would continue to have her go on the potty consistently to ensure that she gets back into the swing of potty training. If you need to, set an alarm for a certain time and have her go every hour if she doesn’t have anything to eat or drink or every half hour if she does. I was told by another mom that they will go when they are ready but I’ve been asking my little girl if she has to go potty and she will tell me either yes or no. I’ve wanted to give up many times. If it gets overwhelming, I would take a break and try it again in a few days or so. Hope this helps! 😊

@Shana Wilson Aww thank you so much ! 💞 I just don't want to keep pushing with the no diaper thing and her hold it for too long and get a UTI or something. I've also tried the training underwear. It's like as soon as she starts to pee in the potty she jumps up off and tries to stop peeing and seems scared. I'm just confused because before we moved she use to do both on the potty every morning lol I guess I'm more confused more than anything haha

You’re so welcome! Which that’s understandable. I have my daughter in pull-ups all day. We switched her into her training panties for school but she would have accidents in them. I would just put her in a pull up and then continue to ask her if she’s got to use the bathroom. If she says yes, take her to the potty and sit in there with her until she goes. If you want, give her something to play with until she goes. There have been times where we’ve sat in there with her for 10 minutes and then there would be times where we wouldn’t be in there for long and she would go. You’ve got this momma! 😊
