Childcare for baby

Hi All I'm a FTM and I'm at my wits end on what to do for childcare as I'm due back at work in a few months' time. My LG was born 8 weeks early and will be 8 months when I return to work but will only be 6 months corrected.  Is it OK for her to start nursery that early? Also, how do I go about finding a nursery? Do I just ring round nurseries near me? Do they usually charge the same prices? I don't know where to do or start my search. Any tips will be amazing! Thanks all.

You can get help with child cost from 9 months if you work you can apply online. https://www.gov.uk/check-eligible-free-childcare-if-youre-working You can ring round or ask for suggestions from other people, I live in tameside but my little girl goes to a Manchester nursery so you could look for one in a different area if that's an option too. My little girls nursery is fab and has places it might be too far from you it's in openshaw and they have spaces as they have just opened the baby room. I know theres a new one in audenshaw too x

You also don't have to use a nursery there's lots of childminders and you can use your tax free childcare or free hours there too x

@Chloe thank you so much!
