Hello beautiful Mamas! I just started home schooling my kids this school season! We have a few more months left of this school year and I am loving this time with my kids. Unfortunately going from full time public school to home schooling has been really hard socially. Where do local Colorado homeschool moms hang out to socialize their kids?

Have you joined your local Facebook homeschool groups? That’s how I find all the meet ups and events for homeschool kiddos.

I don't live in Colorado, but here in PA there a quite a few families choosing homeschooling and co-ops/hybrids. I'm happy to share what I've done to find many of them. 😄 I did a lot of Facebook group searches with words like "Pennsylvania homeschool"/"region (where i live) homeschool" and lots of groups came up that I joined. Going down that rabbit hole I've found many meetups that happen locally with moms who are homeschooling. Also, have you heard of Ainsley Arment, the creator of Wild + Free, a national homeschooling group. If you go on her website under groups map, there is a location finder for all your local groups where homeschooling moms are gathering with their kids together in nature. I found 3 on there within my own driving range. You'll meet moms choosing various homeschooling styles and paths. 😄 https://www.bewildandfree.org

Public library until you get a feel for how your family operates

I’m not in Colorado but I take my kids out to playgrounds almost every day. You will meet a fellow homeschooler or tourists and they always have great stories and great questions about homeschooling.

Very helpful, thank you ladies 💗🤩

We attend a small weekly co-op so that my kids can play and socialize on a regular basis. It’s not too difficult to start up a homeschool co-op!

There’s a huge Colorado homeschooling community and lots of co op options! I’m in Colorado.
