I done body pump up til 36 weeks pregnant. I modified around 16-18 weeks (basically when my bump started to show). Just take it easy on chest and have your risers raised at one side to help you get on and off, watch your bump on the clean and presses on the back track and get ready to do alot of bird dogs for the abs track. I teach it and probs modified for myself during as I progressed thru 2nd trimester. I stopped using the bench coz I couldn't get up properly on my own and there was no way I was gonna get a member to help me lol instead I just laid on the floor. If the bar was going overhead I used the plates instead as belly was getting in the way. I also didn't do the core track, at the time my members knew it so I just gave all the ques. I probs done bodypump up until 2 weeks before giving birth
yes i do it, i just change the parts that involve crunches etc. i also put the step on a slant rather than flat.
I am still doing body pump at 25 weeks! Haven’t modified anything apart from abs tracks yet, but I think I’ll have to change up the chest track pretty soon as the strain of getting up and down is getting a bit much these days. What’re you thinking?
