I think everything is hard initially and then you will fall into a routine. I genuinely found it much more easier/convenient than bottle feeding - no clean up, no sterilisation, no warming up, no need to carry so many items - it’s just ready to go!!

It can be challenging but you can do it.Just stay hydrated and eat lots of protein to keep supply going especially oatmeal .And apply nipple cream or coconut oil to your nipple to keep it from drying or feeling sore.

I will say it can definitely be a challenge. I know it’s different for everyone though. I will say (and probably get hate for it) I do think breast is best. And before I get attacked I want to say that I know some people physically cannot do it and I do sympathize but your nipple actually takes in your babies saliva to know what your baby needs and makes breast milk accordingly, this is why sometimes it changes colors. I had latch problems in the beginning and had settled with the idea of just pumping but then at one month my son just figured it out. 😂 anyways. It’s draining and can be annoying to always have to either feed or pump but I’m 7 months in and I plan to do it until my son isn’t interested. And yes in the beginning aside from the mental drain it can be painful so talk to a lactation consultant to get a good latch and get silverettes and nipple butter. You can do this!

Harder at the beginning, a breeze after around 2/3 months 🥰 my first was bottle fed and second breastfed, so that’s been my experience!

For me first few days were a bit painful, but after it was great. I love the experience of breastfeeding, so grateful I could and still can do it. Those precious moments of connections with your baby. Wouldn’t change that for anything!
