Temp help when child is sick
Hey everyone!
I was hoping to get some advice here. I struggle to look after my little one whilst they are sick but also working at the same time. I easily get distracted when working from home and obviously don't wanna leave the house to go to work if they are not feeling well.
I was thinking about getting a temp support when my LO is sick and can't go to nursery but not sure whether such service even exists.

You can get ad hoc nannies which are about £17ph. There's a local childcare Facebook page where nannies advertise their services, maybe there's one near you?
Thanks both for your advise, much appreciated. Of course I would love to stay home to take care of them rather than getting a stranger taking care of them however my work is not flexible at all and they basically question every single time when I have to work from home when they are not feeling well. Since we have an entire family living outside the UK it's even harder otherwise I would of course ask them to help. Anyway I will try to figure something out.

Sorry LO is poorly. I doubt it does to be honest! Sorry to be blunt but I think you should look after your own child when they’re poorly. It’s bad enough being so little and poorly but then to be taken care of by a stranger?! Can you not take time off work until they are better? Or is there a family member that could possibly help?
