Cramps and contractions everyday 😭

I’m 34 weeks tomorrow. I have been cramping and having contractions for the past week. They ease up sometimes but will have hours where I can’t do anything. My belly gets hard during them but I’m very crampy all the time. My ob knocks it to Braxton hicks when I mention anything and kinda shrugs all my concerns off. Is this normal thing to experience or should I be concerned?

Unfortunately it’s normal and just preparing for delivery. With my first, I had full, constant contractions at 35 weeks and was given medicine to get them stopped. They came back at 37 weeks and continued off and on until I got induced at 41 weeks. Hang in there mama! It’ll be worth it!

I’m 33 + 3 and I’m on the same boat. I’ve had contractions and cramps all week long. I didn’t have any of this my first time but I’ve been told it’s very normal and it can lasts weeks 😅

Same happening here 🙋🏽‍♀️ and it sucks! The only thing that helped me find some relief was drinking some organic Red Raspberry Leaf Tea, it helped almost immediately after the first sips. I also heard it’s great for a smoother delivery, as always do your own research if it interests you but it helped me so much.

I have been experiencing this, too. I'm almost 34 weeks and I have had a mix of beaxton hicks and actual contractions for the past two weeks. Everyday I feel like baby might come early. I have been 1cm dilated since 31 weeks.

I’ve been having Braxton hicks since 21 weeks and they’ve ramped up so much to the point that I’ve been to the er twice since—31 weeks now. I’ve been told sometimes this just happens and it’s just our body preparing. At least it should help get the baby out! Our uterus will have practiced so much by the time it actually happens. Hopefully leading to smoother delivery.
