Sleep

3rd night running I've gone to sleep at 10:30 and continuously woken up and then decided to stay awake at 1:30AM. Any of you other mummas struggling to stay asleep, any remedies to help me get some sleep and stay asleep

I am really struggling too and have throughout pregnancy 🥴 i don’t have any advice unfortunately but I do find after being awake through the early hours I manage to get another hour or so once it gets to 5/6 ish 😂

@Fay the first time it happened I was awake till 5:30 the second time 4. I don't think I'll be sleeping any time soon. Thanks to pregnancy congestion, i now snore and pretty badly too so my partner is asleep downstairs. Otherwise I'd be productive 😂😂 as longs i can get a nap in before my scan and consultant appointment I'll be ok ahahah

It’s usually the toilet or hunger that wakes me up these days and it always seems to be between 1:30 and 2:00! Then the heartburn starts if I eat, it’s all fun 🥴😂 ah the congestion, mine went away for a bit but that’s back too! Could it be anxiety with you saying it’s happened just the last few nights? Have you tried getting out of bed for a bit maybe make a hot drink or try reading? If my partner wasn’t asleep I think I’d try and read for a bit maybe. Hope your appt/scan goes well lovely x

I find magnesium supplements, straddling my pregnancy pillow and my sleep mask to be a game changer. It doesn’t cure the insomnia but definitely helps! Good luck!
