@Baled Potato do people go to the store at 11pm for something their toddler wants? Serious question. If it were medicine or something she needed that would be different. Drinking water one night instead of milk is fine
Yes it's time to teach ! She's 2 not a newborn needing milk to eat so she'll be fine. You are not alone on the feeling though I be having the same feelings should I just go? And then I realize .... it'll be a pattern if so
Tf? Yes??
If my 2yo was screaming I’d just go get the milk tbh
GO, get the milk, lol. I'm all for teachable moments, but that's her nightly routine, and she's still very, very young. I have been in the same situation, which has landed me at the corner store at 2am.
I'd have to bring both her and her brother who’s already asleep with me to the store. She had water shes okay
Then why’d you ask😂😂😂 like she’s 2. If she wants milk, get her milk.
Well, I'm glad she's okay now. I didn't think about you having other kids.
Just weigh the safety. Is it safe to take kids out at a time where more people are up to no good, drinking and driving, etc? Is it good for the kids to get out of bed and be out in public late? No. Babygirl has to just deal tonight, kinda just is what it is sometimes.
I didn't realize peanut had trolls too..
@Mariah So many tbh. I think I’m seeing a repeat offender in here actually lol
@Tiff most definitely
There is no wrong option here
I'd get the milk now, a teaching moment isn't at bedtime when they are tired and cranky as far as I'm concerned

I would have instacart or ubereats some milk because I definitely wouldn’t risk two babies awake. But next time you go shopping Horizon and Better Good both have shelf stable organic milk in cartons. Buy it keep one in your diaper bag, fridge, pantry, etc. This is your emergency milk 🥛!
Things like this happen, like you said they’re 2yo so not solely dependent on milk. It would be different if we were talking about a baby of course! Like you I would not be piling my kids into the car at that time of night for comfort milk. To me personally, that would be insane. To each their own
2 should not drink before bed water is fine where i live the store isn't open at 10 no more and for people who can't afford it even more of a no I'm dealing with the crying baby will be fine.
@Tiff i had to block them immediately because ew lol
I’d personally wait until morning to get it
Go get her some milk? Like what?
