Yes mine did this. I knew it was going to bruise as I got a throbbing feeling when they took the needle out.
I am prone to bruising but it depends on the person taking blood I think! Did they make you bend your arm after or not? They don’t bend your arm anymore as it can increase bruising but I still bruise either way 🙈
I've had a lot of blood tests from lots of different health professionals and the only person I don't bruise with is this one very experienced GP! Never an issue with him. With everyone else they get nervous and start telling me I've got tricky veins and it fucking hurts and they leave a massive bruise. There's definitely a right and wrong technique.
I bruised like this as I have veins that like to hide and my arm took a battering , ended up having it taken my my hand so that was bruised as well
When you're pregnant your blood flow is a lot faster which means you bruise easier! Takes a bit to calm down after you've had baby too, don't worry too much about it. The only time you should be concerned is if EVERYTHING is making you bruise, things that normally wouldn't
I’ve bruised before and it eventually went away
