Back pain

My aunt told me before giving birth that my back was gonna kill after having baby and my goodness she was right. I didn’t have an epidural and I thought that meant I’d be okay but wow I feel like a cripple, can’t walk round the supermarket without feeling like my back is gonna give out, can’t stand in one spot for 5 mins without needing to sit down, even sitting in the sofa feeding baby, my husband has to take over halfway through because my back is in pieces. Anyone else have this? Does it go away over time? I assume it’s from the strain of childbirth?

My first was back to back and it took months to get my back to normal. I did have epidural though. Normal unfortunately

I was back to back too and my back has been in absolutely agony since. I get a shooting pain that goes down my bum cheek in to my leg. I had an epidural also.

Have you tried a belly band? My pregnancy one is able to be worn that way (almost like a girdle) it helps to pop everything back where it should be while you wear it and give more support xx

Did you labour in your back? I feel the same, no epidural but really laboured in my back this time and it kills sometimes 😩

Do you need to be going to the supermarket? Sounds like you're doing too much too soon. Get an online shop or send your husband. Or tell your aunt she was right and ask her for help. Rest!
