So sore after vaginal birth

It’s been 3 weeks I cannot take the feeling of my vagina being on fire. What do I do? 😭

Have you tried witch hazel pads and Dermoplast?

@Jade no i haven’t. Googling them now

Girl hang in there 7 weeks pp nothing has helped with my vagina being on fire except for dermaplast does help for a bit after you spray it on the first 4-5 weeks I used it religiously everytime I went to the bathroom I’d spray it on before pulling my underwear up

On large pads, apply witch hazel and aloe vera, then place them in the freezer. When ready to use, spray with Dermoplast for an extra cooling effect.

I lived on using dermoplast, witch hazel pads & aloe Vera!!

There’s a spray called spritz for bits that I’ve bought for postpartum.

Oh I know it’s so rough! Everyone brushes off recovery after vaginal birth but it’s so hard! Hang in there and it eventually does get easier/better, just takes a long time. I didn’t really feel somewhat ”back to normal” down there till about 8 months.

The Frida postpartum kit is a life saver!

I loved my padsicles. Like some ladies have said- get the large purple overnight pads, cover them in which hazel and aloe Vera. Put them in the freezer over night. The next day take one out, put it in your underwear, I put 3-4 Tucks medicated pads on top of that pad , sprayed dermoplast all over the coochie and then slide that padsicle up. It was heaven.

Daily sitz baths work magic

The frida ice packs are literally the only thing that give me any sort of comfort. They are big and wouldn't be able to wear them really discreetly out of the house but for at home they are amazing xx

If it doesn't feel right, go to triage for an examination 🤞
