Stop breastfeeding

I want to stop. I’m 26 weeks pregnant and my son is 15 months old. I’ve dried up weeks ago and he refuses to stop. He’ll cry for hours and scream. I’d rather hear a newborn cry all day than him. He throws a tantrum nonstop. He will not give up. I really need help. I’ve tried introducing pacifiers again (he hated them once he turned 4 month), I try to feed him a lot before bed and give him warm milk/water, I give him a long warm shower, and I just have tried everything. I don’t know what to do. PLEASE HELP. I can’t take this anymore. It hurts really bad. He is just using it as a pacifier.

I’m in your same boat. I’m about to be 3 months and my son is non stop. I’m still trying to discover new ways to get him off. I know it’s going to be challenging but he needs to get off. I wanted to get a break before new baby comes. I wait for more comments. Oh keep in mind he eats everything and drink milk. Smh

I’m with you. Dad can put him to sleep easy but if he wake up looking for me It’s a wrap. Was considering cold turkeying and just dealing with fallout. But don’t want to traumatize him.

Girl that has to be my tactic is to let him sleep with dad. He’s only on the boob for 2 mins top so I know it’s just comfort at this point bc he eats everything I eat. I’ve been talking about cold turkeying him as well. I’m going to have to. He just going to have to cry and get over it but the main thing you wanna keep in mind if you decide to cold turkey is to have a back up beverage like warm milk or some juice and keep offering it to him when he wants boobs. Or his fav snack. I’m going to do it lol. Idc I need a break before this new baby comes. I literally been breastfeeding for two years straight. Going 🤪
