Energy levels

I have been put on anti sickness tablets for awful nausea, got diarrhoea constantly, but worst symptom is this constant drained feeling. Just spent the past 6 hrs on the sofa!! This really isn’t me at all. I am usually in the gym 3-4 x a week and always active. Now I can’t move. This doesn’t feel normal? I have my first bloods next week, I am hoping they can get to the bottom of it. Has anyone else had this as a symptom?

Maybe you are low in iron. Are the anti sickness helping? I’m 10 weeks and I’m dying at the moment. It’s hit me bad this week

You might me low iron, but also just your reaction to the change in hormones. I’m the same as you, quite active and like to be on the move. First trimester has had me knackered! Every day has felt like a 10k race. Plenty of fluids and leafy vegetables to help with iron levels. Hopefully you’ll feel better soon once out of first trimester x

Some of the anti sickness megs have drowsy effects. The one I’m on doesn’t thankfully, maybe try switching? Tiredness is common in the 1st trimester though. There’s no way I could do the gym right now 😅I’m on Xonvea xx

What are you taking? Cyclizine and xonvea make me drowsy. Ondansetron is the only one that doesn’t and works for me

Cyclizine has drowsy effects, as does promethazine. I’m taking Xonvea. It’s specially formulated for pregnancy x

I am on prochlorperazine maleate- they dissolve in your gums. It does say not to drive if sleepy on the packet 🙈

I’m feeling the exact same at the moment and didn’t feel this bad during my first pregnancy. I was severely sick in my first pregnancy and still had more energy than I do now! I’m thinking a deficiency of some sort 🤷‍♀️
