@Karoline thank you so much for your reply xx congratulations on your pregnancy ♥️ The nurses told me to email them when my first period start and if I’m ready and the scans are all okay I can do the FET xx My period was meant to start on the 1/03 but I had my withdrawal bleeding on the 17/02 so I don’t know when it will actually start again x
Hello, my period was also normal after ER. Had my ER on 11/5/24 which resulted in 9 embryos. My husband also had low motility. Was at risk for OHSS but thankfully did not get it. Had my first FET on 2/11/25 and im currently pregnant! Good luck and sending loads of baby dust your way!
@Patrice congratulations love wishing you all the best ♥️♥️
Thank you so much
You have to count your next period from your withdrawal bleed. Your first day of withdrawal bleed becomes day 1 so if you have a 28 day cycle you should expect around 17/03. Mine actually took 2 more weeks (6 weeks from withdrawal) as the IVF hormones can affect your cycle.
@Annia alright thank you xx I thought so as well The nurses kept telling me not to mistake the withdrawal bleeding with my actual period and they said , it would depend on my body my period could come after 2 weeks from the withdrawal bleeding or 20 days or 28 as we don’t know how my body is responding to the hormones injection xx I will just wait and see xx
My withdrawal bleed was delayed, and my next period was slightly later too. They then returned to 28 day cycles as before. I had moderate OHSS and was hospitalised on the day of egg collection. That was 6th of November, had a small break over Christmas to recover and started FET meds in Jan, transfer 13th Feb, and baby boy born in October. First try 😊
Hi there! I had a normal period the second cycle after ER. I did my ER in June last year. I also had OHSS. Ended up doing my first FET which was successful in August (two cycles after ER). Currently 30w1d pregnant with my baby boy! Glad to hear you’re back to normal! Congrats on your 7 embryos mama!! 💕 my husband also had low sperm count and low motility. Stay positive! Sending lots of baby dust your way for a successful transfer! 🤞🏼 feel free to message me with any questions you have regarding the transfer process!
