Flat head

So my mil has pointed out my lo has a slight flattening of the side they lay on to feed. LO is 12 weeks old. He usually falls asleep as he feeds. I do all the tummy time etc and keep him off it in his awake windows. But it's still flatish. Anyone else had the same issue?

Oh sure! With enough tummy time and time passing it will fix itself. It happens! Especially a slight flattening it’s not crazy concerning. ❤️

Hi. We had the same issue. We noticed that he only liked to look in one direction. We took him to an osteopath and it turned out he had a sore neck. Tummy time and making sure they look in both directions also helped.

My daughter was the same but as soon as she started sitting up independently it corrected itself and now her head is as it should be (she’s 2 soon) I’d mention it to the health visitor/gp so they can keep an eye on it xx

Yes baby is 3 months and I noticed his head getting flat around 2.5 months. I believe it was because he started sleeping deep and stayed in one position for long. I've been turning his head at night time (left one day, right one day). And lots of tummy time. It seems to be improving. I feel with time it'll get better because he's moving his head more now
