liquid intake worry

little one doing better with eating solids, is trying and eating more, naturally she is dropping milk amounts (she is bottle fed and has mainly breastmilk and a little formula) because of this but she won't really drink much water and we haven't got onto trying cows milk properly, any thoughts or similar experiences?

Hi Karla, my LB is the same he's not on cows milk proper. He dropped his milk intake a few months ago. I was initially a bit worried as he wasn't drinking water as he kept spitting it out thinking its a great game, he still does it now. Anyway I spoke to health visitor a while ago about it and she said just make sure he's getting cows milk in others things such as cereal, Yogurts, Potatos etc. I am gradually weaning him onto cows milk properly now but doing it gradually by mixing formula and cows milk together. If you're breastfeeding it's likely your little one won't need as much water as your body quickly adjusts to what baby needs, when you wean off formula you could introduce some water and/or cows milk instead, as formula isn't needed after 1 but breastfeeding can go on as long as it works for you guys

My baby isn't breastfed but until I finish my current can of formula he's having about half formula half cows milk in 2-3 bottles a day and has water in between
