Amniotic fluid or pee?
Hi ladies, I have had to change my knickers twice within the last 2 hours as it keeps getting wet. I’m unsure if it amniotic fluid or just increased wet discharge? Any advice?

I went to triage on Thursday for this. Turns out my discharge was just very thin and clear. It is safest to get checked out though!
Do they need a sample of the discharge or do an ultrasound to check the amniotic fluid levels?
@Neha they will do an exam to swab any liquids.
To check fluid levels for me they did a scan but I hadn't had issues with fluid loss specifically, I was in for reduced movement so they were checking fluid and overall wellbeing check

Honestly! I went to the hospital today because I was so wet and thought I was leaking! It was pee! But they told me to check anyway!! Last week I was admitted to the hospital with low amniotic fluid around baby and my waters had broken a week ago and didn’t know! Now it has healed and stopped. I’m 34 weeks and they want to monitor me as much as they can to keep baby in! When I was wet today I didn’t resitate to go and check so I advise the same to you, better check! If you are that wet I would say amniotic fluid, because mine was just a little bit and it turned out my water had broken and I didn’t know.
