@Savanna I know me too 😢
It gets easier once you get into a routine! Just the first month or so whilst you’re adjusting it’s hard xx
I was so worried about our dog being a rescue “not safe with kids” but we had done training pre pregnancy and know he’s okay with bigger kids but the baby was a worry and him still getting attention and not just being sent away from the baby all the time on top of energy for walks and days out Our dog has decided the baby is his baby Guards the bassinet Wants be near him on the sofa Sits by the cot if he cries and runs over to jump on me and wake us up to get the baby milk I now have two baby’s on me at all times I am just a pillow and bringer of snacks Safe to say future besties and the dog will love the weaning phase For now the walks are less often and shorter but lots of cuddles instead and he seams okay with it
I feel the same! My LO is 4 weeks and we used to havr her in doggy day care (running around with a pack of dogs!) once and week and now increased to twice + visits to my mums with het family dog. As I felt so bad not giving her my attention and lots of walks and play.
I feel the same! I have two dogs and have been showing them lots of love still, and I think the hormones are making me extra emotional, but I can't help but feel bad and hope they know they're still so loved!
