Newborn dry lips
My baby has had dry lips since been born now a month on still dry has little squares on the lips of dry patches? Struggling to understand why? He drinks well and isn’t dehydrated? Anyone else had this I’ve attached a pic. I just don’t get why and what to do.

My boy gets this, however so do I. It’s just really bad dry lips. Lansinoh nipple cream does wonders for dry lips! I put some on both of us in the morning and before bed and just use Vaseline through the day x
Have there been any tongue tie issues, diagnosed or otherwise? Sometimes it can cause lip ‘blisters’ which can look a bit similar!

Mine had this. I would just make it a point to rub breast milk on them at every feeding and it resolved quickly
